Alex Mullen graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2014 with degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. He is currently a medical student at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.

He is the first American to win the World Memory Championships with the highest point scorer in the 24-year history of the competition. He can memorize the order of a deck of cards in 17 seconds and holds the Guinness World Record for most digits memorized in one hour.
